The Sales Operations Manager ensures data and analytics are being applied to the overall sales strategy of the company. You will bridge the gap between various departments to ensure a single, cohesive data strategy is shared with the Sales Team. This role requires Salesforce software knowledge, along with maintaining the overall quality, completeness, and value of the data.


Compensation: Dependent upon experience; Average base is $55,000 + a quarterly incentive based off of KPI's.

Qualifications for Sales Operations Manager:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience. A minimum of 1 year of sales management experience.
  • 3+ years of hands on experience with Salesforce.is required. Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus. Expert knowledge of SFDC best practice/declarative work.
  • Robust understanding of phone systems in outbound tele sales.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced team environment.
  • Highly proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities on sales team: Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
  • Ability to problem solve, understand impact, identify root case, determine resolution, and make recommendations.

Reporting (Salesforce):

  • Ensure timely/accurate lead dispositioning in SF, including accurate notation of all pertinent data relating to 1-800 Accountant’s business clients.
  • Ensure every call type is logged and each new lead is called according to our outlined calling cadence.
  • Clear understanding of how to create reports, make changes to platform in Salesforce.
  • Manage lead distributions through proper reporting.
  • Create and distribute daily/weekly reporting packs including Forecast, Key Deals, Pipeline and Analysis to Sales Management group.
  • Prepare drafts for to support quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Create Salesforce ad hoc reports as requested, including Channel Partner Reports, Competitor Analysis, etc.
  • Continually enhance reports and process to provide better management visibility of pipeline data and sales performance.
